Our research group has one fully funded Ph.D. and one Post-doc positions at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Illinois at Chicago. The preferred research areas include Power Systems and Coordination with Power Electronics, Distributed Energy Systems, Wide-area Protection and Cybersecurity, Bigdata applications in power systems, machine learning, HVDC Control and Operation, Renewable Energy Integration, and Power System Modeling and Analysis.

Candidates with strong power systems/power electronics/computer science background and prior research experience are preferred. We are also looking for Visiting Scholars and Visiting Students.
