Our research group has multiple fully funded Ph.D. and Post-doc positions in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois Chicago. The Ph.D. candidates and Post-docs will be involved in significant DOE-funded projects and collaborate with top-tier power companies and world-class manufacturers, including ComEd, AES, Eversource Energy, ISONE, GE, Siemens Industry, SEL, S&C Electric, and more. The preferred research areas include modeling, control, and protection of power electronics-based power systems and AI applications in renewable energy integration.
